Staple Inn courtyard

Which do you like better and why? They're the same set of photos, only each cropped differently. I can't decide which I like better for the first set. The second set focuses on such different views that I almost see them as completely separate photos.

This is a lovely little courtyard hidden off the street, behind theStaple Inn buildings area. Never would have found it if I didn't leave for work so early and have a knack for wandering ("getting lost").

Altering Photos

See the difference in the original (top) and then look at what "Auto Levels" does in Photoshop for the bottom picture. It seems to me to be hit or miss. Occasionally I will look at my pictures and they just don't come out with the same colours as I see them with my eyes at the time of the picture. I'll do the Auto Levels thing and it will correct it to look as it did when I snapped the picture. Other times it just completely changes it to unrealistic colours. Then on this Blogger website, sometimes my pictures change colours when I post them, or when you click for the full view, they will be drastically different. One reason why perhaps prints are a better idea. But, sadly, I rarely get prints made.

St Paul's

Sir Christopher Wren
Said, "I am going to dine with some men.
If anyone calls,
Say I am designing St Paul's."
