Snow is nice when you don't have to drive in it and when you can go out and play instead. We were covered by snow this past Saturday through Tuesday. I think the front yard still has at least a foot of snow left. Thankfully this weekend holds a promise of melting! :D

Well, we're not quite to the green-grass point of this photo (taken this summer) but winter seems to have begun in the mountains and not bothered to continue to the lower elevations. It is a little disappointing, though I am pleased with the warm sun. :)

I was looking through some photos from last year around this time (or rather earlier - September through October) and for some reason I had the camera set to wide-sized photos throughout most of the days. Very interesting - I do remember discovering that size and using it more often than I do now. The photos definitely have a different look to them when they are focused on the length. I like it.

I am terrible at posting/sending requested pictures for people. One thing I've noticed is that I am better about it if I am to post it on this blog. Not sure why. These sunset photos I was meant to post on Facebook forever ago. Oops!
