I guess the unusual amounts of rain we have been getting this summer have caused an infestation of ladybugs! Apparently Jefferson County has a notable amount of them (at least, enough to be mentioned on the Today Show a few weeks ago). I've noticed more than usual but this past weekend I saw the swarms of them that I've seen in other people's photos...

Yeah, it is kind of disturbing. At least they weren't flying anywhere!
